2016 Kyosho Optima motor/ESC recommendations. Asking newbee question as the last RC car I owned was late 1980s. A lot looks like it has changed. I had an 8.4 V battery pack in my Turbo Optima and the motor that came with the kit. When I saw the release of the new Optima I decided to get one. Currently building and flying planes, up to 55cc size.
